WHAT I’LL BE WEARING ALL SUMMER LONGI Love / The Edit categories: I Love The Edit
When I pick a new cosi, I try to choose something fashion forward with an interesting cut, standout colours or a striking material. I’m also pretty big on being able to mix and match easily with the pieces I already have.
I know a lot of us can find bikini shopping daunting (especially after a long winter filled with one or two extra helpings of dessert), so what better way to do it than from the comfort of your own home? Online shopping has certainly made finding the perfect bikini a whole lot easier for me.
The hottest new season items are calling for a place in your drawer. I’ve selected my favourite bikini trends and handpicked the perfect bikinis which will have you looking sexy all summer long.
You’ll be making waves in these high waisted pool party looks. The high waisted is a sexy and sophisticated look which a lot of people feel more comfortable in as it is flattering.
Zimmermann have made an exclusive ‘Empire’ bikini which has an underwired triangle top with with padded cups for a cheeky yet subtle lift. The high-rise bottoms are trimmed with a delicate ruffle which adds to the feminine flair.
Fringing has made a bold appearance in fashion trends recently. I love how it gives the bikini an updated look.
Seafolly have a fabulous fringed bikini set or you can pick one up from Surf Stich for $9.99. Check out the Surf Stitch outlet for other absolute bargains too!! If you are still looking for a one piece with a difference, you wont need to look further than the Seafolly coast suit.
COLOURFUL AND FUN
You can also have a bit of fun with the ASOS skimpy bottoms. The range of colours in the popping print make mix and match a whole lot easier for you. If you have a big budget for your summer bikini, Camilla will add some staple bling to your beach attire.
THE CROP TOP
The crop top bikini is the perfect solution instead of struggling with strapless bikinis. The sports neck adds an element of cool to your beachwear. I’m a fan because the crop top provides a little extra support and coverage. I’m loving the bold and playful stripes on this Asos bikini . The Jets bikni also gives off more modern glamour with the contrasting black and white.
The Seafolly crop is another one on my list to add to the collection as I do like to shake up the colour palette and wear blues, reds and whites (of course, my trusty black bikinis are packed for every beach holiday too).
Last year the one piece was the must-have, this year there is a lot more of the cheeky cut bottoms and strappy tops floating around.
I’m a huge fan of the off the shoulder look and will totally be introducing it into my swimwear. Bec and Bridge have made a super cute bikini with the ties on the side to bring the off-the-shoulder look down to the beach.
