Hello Autumn!Fashion & Beauty / The Edit / What I Wore categories: Fashion & Beauty The Edit What I Wore
Last Thursday evening we were front and centre cheering my main man, Tim Robards as he strutted down the Myer Sydney catwalk for the Autumn Winter show.
Even though the main attraction of the evening was the department stores new collection, there were plenty of fun interactive elements as we sat on the runway . The adoring fan-club eagerly awaited for the hot mods to strut their stuff.
The star studded catwalk included Jen Hawkins and yes, the smoking hot Tim Robards (ok ok, I’ll stop mentioning that!). The designer Line Up showcasing their new looks included Alex Perry, Talulah, Sass and Bide, Nicola Finetti, Finders Keepers and Seed.
I wore Cue jumpsuit with a plunging V-neck. The stretch velvet felt very luxurious and was perfect for the rainy weather. I wore it without a top underneath, but have seen it teamed with high neck tops for some contrast. The box bag is in and I will be stocking up on a few in different colours. This studded top handles and adjustable / removable sling strap make this bag an easy pleaser.
It was an up close and personal event where we could see details in each of the seasonal trends. We saw a lot of embellishment, floral, lace, ruffles and mule heels featuring. There was a real buzz in the room being so close to the catwalk as you could really see the trends. These are some of my favourite autumn inspired pieces below if you are ready for a wardrobe revamp.
During Autumn the weather can fluctuate from warm days which remind of us summer and then we have the days of rain, wind and mild chills. These are a few of my favourite pieces to stay on trend this Autumn.
Drop earrings are everywhere this season, so you’ll be sure to get lots of wear out of these babies. Some stone earrings can add a bit of accent to your look no matter what the occasion is.
I spend a lot of time in comfy sweaters on weekends but I don’t like anything too super daggy as I want to be able to get out-and-about and not have to worry about getting changed again.
Camel colour is perfect for year-round wear. Instead of opting for black all the time (save that for winter)… go for camel instead especially while the weather is still pleasant during Autumn.
